I am Michael Thomas, owner of John Michael Events. The other day I got a fortune cookie that said “if you continually give, you will continually have”. This sentiment very much resounds with me and my philosophies. I strongly believe in the old saying of “what comes around goes around”. I have a firm philosophy of giving to my staff as much as possible. After all, it is the staff that will represent the company. I also believe in giving back personally. In addition to donating to charitable organizations, I volunteer for two organizations – SPCA of Central Florida and Seniors First. With the SPCA I am a “bark buddy” and visit with the dogs while they are at the shelter and show the dogs to prospective adopters. With Seniors First I am a “friendly visitor” and spend time with an elderly man named Gerry. We play cards, go to dinner and go on field trips.
