As a full-service Orlando wedding catering company, we are experts in providing top culinary services at any venue. No matter if you’re having a garden wedding at Celebration Gardens or a lakeside wedding at Tavares Pavilion on the Lake, our team at John Michael Events can cater and coordinate your day!

One of our wonderful couples, Rebecca and William, utilized one of our Diamond Package offerings to have a beautiful burgundy and ivory wedding at the Tavares Pavilion. Our Event Managers assisted them with booking their dream Orlando wedding vendors, helped plan their wedding timeline, and of course, carefully crafted a delicious wedding catering menu.

Their wedding story is the perfect example of how we are not just an Orlando wedding catering business. We are also professional wedding planners and coordinators, not to mention top guest service providers. For all of our couples, we provide so much more than food. We help give them their dream wedding day!

Join us in this post as we relive Rebecca and William’s breathtaking burgundy wedding. In their story, you’ll find inspiration for your own Orlando wedding and see how our team can alleviate tons of stress as you plan your big day!

John Michael Events’ All-Inclusive Wedding Packages:

Rebecca and William booked a Diamond Package with us, meaning they secured one of our all-inclusive wedding packages! We designed these bundled event packages to help you save time and effort when booking your wedding vendors. Researching various vendors online, interviewing them, deciding which one out of the hundreds is going to be best for you, and then hoping that it all works out is exhausting! We know the vendor research process can be the most taxing step during wedding planning, so we have eliminated that for you with our packages.

We exclusively work with the top Orlando wedding vendors that we have vetted and partnered with on hundreds of real weddings. These vendors’ services are included in our Diamond Packages, so when you book a package, you’re basically booking your entire wedding at once!

For Rebecca and William’s burgundy wedding, their customized Diamond Package included:

  • Day-Of Coordinator
  • Floral
  • Photography
  • Wedding Cake
  • Ceremony Music
  • Reception DJ
  • Orlando Wedding Catering

Once they booked their package, we assembled these vendors for them and assisted with communication throughout the entire planning process. This made for a seamless and stress-free planning experience for Rebecca and William, and a smooth wedding day!

Wedding Prep at Tavares Pavilion on the Lake:

The Tavares Pavilion is one of our favorite Orlando wedding venues because of its gorgeous lakeside views and versatile event spaces. Their ceremony site features a gorgeous grand staircase, golden chandeliers, and floor-to-ceiling windows that allow for natural light to flood into the room.

On Rebecca and William’s burgundy wedding day, our coordination team set up their personal décor in this ceremony space. We set “Reserved” signs on the first three rows of chairs, placed individual tissue packets on every seat, and set up the sand unity ceremony at the altar. We also made sure to set up this couple’s memorial display and guest book table.

While we were busy setting up the personal décor and our wedding catering equipment, Rebecca and William got all dolled up for the day alongside their sweet kids. They exchanged special letters and gifts as they got ready for the ceremony, but saved seeing each other for the first time until they got to the aisle.

Before they knew it, it was time to get married!

Burgundy Wedding Ceremony:

While Rebecca and William were the stars of the day, their children had their moment too! They helped kick off the processional as the ring bearer and flower girl, and were absolutely adorable walking down the aisle. Everyone could tell they were excited for the proceedings that day too!

When Rebecca made her grand entrance into the ceremony, she looked radiant! She wore a lace wedding gown and fingertip-length veil. Her ivory and burgundy bridal bouquet reflected the hues of the floral arrangements that lined the aisle. But it was her smile that completed her look! Her father first escorted her to the altar and her mother joined them closer in. This couple intentionally incorporated so many special family moments in their wedding day, like this one, and it was so sweet to witness!

Family is everything to Rebecca and William, so it only made sense for their kids to be involved in the ceremony! They did a family sand unity ceremony, where the children helped pour different colored sands into a vase to represent not only the union of this couple, but also the union of this family.

Rebecca and William then sealed the deal with a kiss and proceeded back up the aisle as husband and wife with their kids in tow. It was a joyful moment!

Orlando Wedding Catering at Tavares Pavilion:

The ceremony conclusion marked the start of cocktail hour, so our team opened the beer and wine bar and began butler passing hors d’oeuvres! We served:

  • Spanakopita
  • Boursin Cheese Stuffed Mushroom Caps
  • Bacon Wrapped Dates with Almond

We wined and dined the newlyweds’ loved ones while they captured wedding photos and ensured that the party was getting off to the right start.

Orlando Wedding Catering Menu:

Soon, it was time to kick off the wedding reception! After Rebecca and William’s formal introduction and lively, choreographed first dance, we began the dinner service. That evening, guests delighted in a wedding menu of:

  • Country French Salad
  • Panko and Parmesan Chicken
  • Baked Ziti Four Cheese
  • Three Cheese Potatoes
  • Esquites
  • Chef Carved Pernil with Sweet BBQ, Jalapeno Garlic Parmesan, and Pomerey Mustard

Adding an action station to your wedding buffet is a wonderful enhancement! It provides an extra element of interactivity for your guests and treats them to premium dishes, like Chef Carved Pernil, Hanger Steak, Pork Tenderloin or Beef Brisket.

After everyone was full and happy, Rebecca and William danced with their parents and then cut their wedding cake! It was a three-tiered amaretto cake adorned with fresh floral and greenery. Our team cut and served the cake at this time as well as set out a gourmet coffee station.

This station is another great enhancement to your wedding menu and includes: coffee, hot tea, whipped cream, flavored creamers, chocolate curls, honey, lemons, and sugar swizzles. It pairs perfectly with cake and desserts!

Following one epic dance party, this burgundy wedding came to a close. We lined everyone up outside for Rebecca and William’s bubble grand exit, where the newlyweds concluded the night with one more kiss before heading off into their next chapter together.
