Earlier this year, our John Michael Exquisite Weddings and Catering had the pleasure of working with Zoe and Jaret. They were a super sweet couple, who like many others, had postponed their wedding from 2020. We’ve never seen anyone so excited to see their wedding day arrive.
Their intimate wedding for approximately fifty family and friends was at the beautiful Tavares Pavilion on the Lake. The spacious venue allowed lots of space both inside and out for the couple and their guests to celebrate.
4 Carat Diamond Package
The couple chose one of our John Michael Events Diamond Packages, working with some of the top Orlando wedding pros.
Their package included an Event Coordinator, Catering, beautiful Floral Décor and personal flowers, Photography, Officiant, and Wedding Cake. And as you’ll see from the wedding photos. Their wedding day was beautiful.
With This Ring
The couple’s intimate wedding ceremony took place in front of the Tavares Pavilion’s Grand Staircase. The natural lighting through the floor-to-ceiling windows filled the room, and the fabric swags and fresh flowers on the staircase added to the atmosphere.
Surrounded by family and friends, the couple exchanged their wedding vows, sealing them with a kiss before jumping the broom as they headed off for wedding portraits and cocktail hour.
Cocktails and Hors d’ Oeuvres
Zoe and Jaret headed off along the pier and park for some beautiful wedding photos.
We especially love this photo of Zoe with her wedding party as it showcases her incredible bridal bouquet. And, how amazing and unique are these floral pieces created for her wedding party? The shades of blue and light coral were carried throughout the wedding décor with touches of silver as an accent color.
While the newlyweds took photos, their wedding guests took advantage of the fantastic outdoor space for cocktail hour.
For their Hors d’ oeuvre selection, the couple picked delicious Mini Corn Muffins and Bacon Wrapped Dates with Almonds and refreshing Balsamic Watermelon Bites.
Dinner, Dancing and Delicious Wedding Cake
Inside the Tavares Pavilion, the upstairs ballroom was set for a night of dinner and dancing. Tables were draped in deep Navy-blue linen, beautiful floral centerpieces, and cotton candy wedding favors at each place setting. The buffet and accent tables popped with shimmering silver accents and fresh flowers.
The newlyweds took to the dancefloor for their First Dance to kick off the evening before enjoying a delicious buffet dinner.
For their buffet reception, the couple chose to start with our signature John Michael Country French Salad served with Rosemary Garlic, Honey Wheat, Plain Seas Salt Rolls. This was followed by entrees of Tuscan Chicken and yummy White Truffle and Bacon Mac and Cheese, accompanied by a fresh Seasonal Vegetable Sauté and Garlic Mashed Potatoes.
Zoe and Jaret chose the Carved Flank Steak with Chimichurri, Pomeroy Mustard, and Horseradish Cream Sauces for their Chef’s Carving Station! One of our couples’ favorites.
As always, our John Michael Exquisite Weddings and Catering team was happy to accommodate the couple’s special needs. We created Tempeh Steak Medallions with Roasted Ratatouille and Seasonal Vegetables for their vegan guest and a plated dinner of Chicken Tenders, Mac and Cheese, Fresh Fruit for the kids.
After dinner and some dancing, the couple played the popular shoe game to see how well they knew each other. They did really well, and did you see Zoe’s shoes?
After some family dances and a toast with Asti Spumante, the couple cut their show-stopping four-tiered modern wedding cake.
The four tiers included Funfetti with Pistachio, Red Velvet Amaretto, Coconut Cake with Raspberry, and Champagne Cake with Strawberry. Amazing! And their Gourmet Coffee Bar accented it perfectly.
Congratulations, Zoe and Jaret! We loved seeing your wedding day come together.
Thank you to our incredible Diamond Package vendors who made this day so spectacular.
