Over the past twenty years John Michael Exquisite Weddings and Catering has committed ourselves to developing a stronger community and inciting social change.
We collaborate with a number of cultural and civic organizations across the Orlando and central Florida region
Recently our owner Michael Thomas was elected to the board of One Orlando Alliance, an organization dedicated to unifying the LGBTQ+ community in Central Florida.
We are proud to be a visible and vocal part of the LGBTQ+ community and work with same-sex couples to provide them with beautiful weddings, whether they are local or coming to Orlando for a destination wedding.
We are also honored to be on the board of Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando, founded in 1937 as the Orlando Humane Society. They are dedicated to providing positive and safe outcomes for pets.
They recently crossed state lines for the first time to rescue nearly twenty German Shepherds in Georgia. They are currently evaluating the dogs for health and behavior and expect that the dogs will become available one or two at a time as staff deems them appropriate for adoption.
Their upcoming Paws In The Park commemorative walk and festival will be taking place at Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando on Saturday, February 9th.
This community wide fundraising event provides support for the more than 7,000 homeless pets who will be cared for at their two shelters this year.
