This includes vendors like floral, photography, ceremony officiant, wedding coordinator, entertainment, and of course, catering.

Our clients love that they can have one primary point of contact, who then liaises with all their vendors for them. This means they won’t have to navigate their way through multiple contracts nor juggle numerous vendor communications. Our team serves as your go-to, making wedding planning as easy as possible!

That’s the John Michael Events’ difference. We aren’t just a wedding caterer. We’re a team of dedicated event professionals, who strive to make not just one, but every aspect of your wedding the best it can be.

For their Christmas wedding, Morgan and Max selected one of our Diamond packages that included their:

  • Minister
  • Ceremony Harpist
  • Wedding Coordinator

You’re able to customize any of our packages, so if you want to add or remove any included vendors, we can easily do so. We want to make your wedding package exactly what you want it to be!

A Christmas Wedding Ceremony:

Morgan and Max’s Christmas wedding took place at Tavares Pavilion on the Lake, a beautiful indoor/outdoor wedding venue in Orlando. They held their ceremony on the lower level of the Grand Ballroom, their cocktail hour on the Pier by the water, and their reception on the upper level of the Grand Ballroom. When our team arrived at the venue on the big day, we immediately got to working setting up the wedding sites. We decorated the reception tables with burgundy linens, set the food tables with our chafers and included buffet décor, and arranged each place setting on the dining tables. These are just a few setup tasks that we do for our clients!

On the day of this Christmas wedding, we also set out the couple’s personal décor, including their wooden hearts guest book, framed family photos, laser-cut wooden name plates, and candles as guest favors.

When it was time for the ceremony, Max kicked off the processional by escorting his parents down the aisle. Their wedding party then followed, dressed in classic black suits and multi-colored, pastel gowns. While everyone looked dapper, Morgan took the cake with her bridal look! She donned a long-sleeved, white lace wedding dress, which she paired with an elegant pearl necklace and trailing ivory veil.

She met Max at the altar, which was decorated with immaculate Christmas garlands lining the banisters of the wooden staircase. They had metallic baubles and white twinkle lighting, setting a romantic atmosphere for their ceremony. Two Christmas trees also flanked either side of the altar, dressed in gold and silver ribbons and ornaments. It couldn’t have been more perfect for a Christmas wedding!

Cocktail Hour Hors D’oeuvres on the Pier:

After Morgan and Max said “I do,” their guests adjourned to cocktail hour on the pier. There, our team butler passed hors d’oeuvres, including spanakopita, mini BLT’s atop a baguette, and bacon wrapped dates. We also began the open bar service, which the newlyweds had stocked with beer, wine and liquor.

While we took care of their guests, the bride and groom took photos with their family and wedding party followed by newlywed portraits. They were able to enjoy each other’s company and soak up that “just married” feeling because they knew their guests were in good hands, enjoying our food and beverage offerings at cocktail hour. This is another essential reason why it’s so important to have a reputable, professional wedding caterer, like us!

A Christmas Wedding Reception Menu:

This Christmas wedding reception was picture-perfect! With mahogany Chiavari chairs, burgundy linens, garlands lining the staircase and wreaths hanging from each individual chandelier, this was the epitome of a Christmas wedding. The ambiance was joyous and romantic, as an amber glow filled the space from the various candles and Christmas fairy lights.

For the reception, Morgan changed into a sleek, white gown that she was later able to easily dance in while still feeling bridal. After the first dance, parent dances, and toasts, it was time for dinner. We served this couple’s 125 guests a delightful meal that evening that consisted of:

  • Country French Salad
  • Teriyaki Chicken
  • Sweet Chili Shrimp Skewer
  • Pesto Primavera
  • Garlic Mashed Potatoes
  • Seasonal Vegetable Sauté
  • Assorted Rolls with Butter Rosettes

Although this was a buffet, we always serve the newlyweds VIP plates at their seats. After all, you are the stars and honorees of your wedding and you deserve to be treated as such! Morgan and Max enjoyed the food at their sweetheart table, which was enhanced by fluffy ivory and burgundy florals.

We also always take care of your guests like they are our own family! We can accommodate any and all dietary restrictions, and at this Christmas wedding, we served plated meals of fire-roasted vegetable polenta cake for those guests who were vegan.

After dinner, Morgan and Max cut their sweetheart wedding cake. It was a one-tier cake with white buttercream and fresh red and white floral. Then, the dance floor opened and a merry time was had by all! Between the epic dance party, bouquet toss, and sign game, everyone had a blast!

Seeing everyone’s smiling faces always reminds us of why we do what we do: To give you and your loved ones the time of your lives!

Morgan and Max, congratulations on your incredible Christmas wedding! Thank you for trusting us with your dream day and we wish you a lifetime of happiness together.
