In January, our John Michael Exquisite Weddings and Catering team was part of Angela and Jonathan’s incredible wedding at Orlando’s Harry P. Lew Gardens.

Diamond Package
The couple selected one of our Diamond Packages. In addition to catering by our incredible team, they also worked with our fantastic Preferred Vendors.

With This Ring
Their wedding ceremony was held on The Landing, surrounded by family and friends.
We love that Jonathan turned his back to the aisle so he wouldn’t see his bride-to-be until she made her way down the aisle with her father. Needless to say, it was a little emotional for him.

Beer, Wine and Hors d’ Oeuvres
Following the wedding ceremony, the couple and their guests enjoyed a cocktail hour together. The couple selected our Beer and Wine Package, which included bar setups for Beer and Wine and Certified Bar Staff.
For their Butler Passed Hors d ‘Oeuvres selection, Angela and Jonathan chose:
- Meatballs with Bourbon, Pomerey Mustard, and Marinara Sauces
- Mini Crab Cakes with Key Lime and Remoulade Sauces
- Mini Chicken Pot Pies
The Azalea Ballroom
Inside the Lew Gardens, Azalea Ballroom tables were set with crisp white table cloths. Gold charger plates were layered with black linen napkins with gold flatware tucked inside.
Floral arrangements in gold containers overflowed with white flowers and tropical leaves, matching the bouquets, boutonnieres, and ceremony décor.

The four-tiered white wedding cake was decorated with a cascade of white orchids. The couple chose delicious flavors for each tier. The flavors ranged from Rum Cake with Coconut Filling to Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting, Strawberry Cake with Amaretto Filling, and Chocolate Cake with Raspberry and Hazelnut Filling. There was something there for everyone!

Dinner and Dancing
After their introduction, the newlyweds took to the dancefloor for their first dance. Several toasts and a blessing followed their dance before enjoying their delicious buffet dinner.
The buffet menu included:
- Garden Salad with choice of Ranch or Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressings
- Rosemary Garlic, Honey Wheat and Plain Sea Salt Yeast Rolls with Butter Rosettes
- Maple Salmon
- Bourbon Glazed Pork with Caramelized Onions
- Baked Four Cheese Ziti
- Broccoli and Cheese casserole
- Seasonal Vegetable Sauté
Following dinner, the couple tested their knowledge of each other by playing the shoe game before cutting their beautiful wedding cake with a ceremonial Marine sword. They then joined all of their family and friends on the dancefloor for the rest of the evening.

Angela and Jonathan closed out their night under a shower of sparkling confetti as they made their grand exit.

Congratulations, Angela and Jonathan; we wish you much happiness!
