Our John Michael Exquisite Weddings and Catering team recently had the pleasure of helping to create a dream wedding for Lexi and Clark, a military couple who are beyond sweet.
Their recent Tavares Pavilion wedding in Lake County was full of personalization, family and love. They chose our Diamond Package and our vendors and event coordination by our own Giselle made it simple, elegant and stress-free.
The couple’s wedding ceremony took place at the base of the pavilions stunning wooden staircase, framed by floor to ceiling windows overlooking the lake.
Clark was already in place as the wedding processional began, which included one of the groomsmen escorting the couples fur baby Yogi.
Lexi made her grand entrance escorted by her father, followed by the couple exchanging rings and wedding vows in front of nearly one hundred and forty family and friends.
The touching wedding ceremony ended with traditional military exit of crossed swords.
The cocktail reception that followed included a full bar, served by our John Michael certified bar staff and well as an assortment of butler passed hors d’ Oeuvres which included:
Boursin Cheese Stuffed Mushroom Caps
Fiery Mac and Cheese Bites
Bacon Wrapped Dates with Almonds
The upper level of the pavilion was set for dinner. Round tables with elegant white, floor length linen were set with square, white, modern china and a burgundy napkin and a custom centerpiece in white, burgundy and red with touches of greenery and sparkling candles.
During the cocktail hour the ceremony space had been transformed for introductions, the couple’s First Dance, as well as dancing later that evening.
Guests made their way upstairs for a scrumptious dinner buffet which included:

Panko and Parmesan Crusted Chicken
Cheese Tortellini with Spinach Alfredo Sauce
Broccoli and Cheese Casserole
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Chef Carved Flank Steak with Chimichurri, Pomerey Mustard and Horseradish Cream Sauces
Rosemary Garlic, Honey Wheat and Plain Yeast Rolls with Butter Rosettes
Before an evening filled with dancing and fun the couple cut not one, but two special cakes.
Clark’s amazing Florida Seminoles groom’s cake consisted of two layers; one Oreo and the other Strawberry. Adding to the variety, the couple’s beautiful three-tiered wedding cake included one layer of spice cake and two of delicious red velvet cake.
Lexi and Clark’s incredible wedding concluded with a Grand Exit on the Tavares Pavilion’s terrace under a shower of red roses.
